Exhaust Manfold

Can any one help out? I have been looking at stainless exhaust manifolds for my 2.9 S3c I have notice that tvrcarparts are selling theres for £165 pound each and ACT are selling theres for £326 pound each whats the difference apart from the price?
Anyone Know?

Dunno, is it possible one is pricing them individually and the other as a pair? I suppose you could always ask them what the difference is.

Already spoken with Tim from ACT and the price he qutoed was for each and Neil at TVRcarparts was for each as well checK there web sites out.

Check again - I paid approximately that for a pair (V6) last year, so unless prices have increased dramatically...

Sounds odd, ACT quoted me £329+VAT for the pair a few weeks back.

I'm sure you have, but that does still seem the most likely explanation to me. Perhaps some crossed wires while you were talking to Tim? I suggest you call him again and make sure.

I bought a full stainless system for my V8s from ACT, manifolds, Y piece and exhaust and got a good discount. Tim is very fair, perhaps call and see if you can get a better price.

Oh forgot to say ACT are made by JP exhausts very pleased with mine.

Looks great, i think i might invest in a pair next time i have work done. I rather fancy having the same setup as silverback mikes S3 when im finished.

Infact heres why i need some - yes that is a mixture of kitchen foil and exhaust putty. Ah the joys of running an old TVR as a student
