V8 Water Hoses

I have a slight leak on one of my hoses near the water pump, I'm getting moisture sitting on the metal webbing behing the pump, I think its coming from the top hose on the pump.
Anyway what should I do they are all looking a bit old so I reckon I should bite the bullet and change the lot.
Should I go for the black land rover variety or the silicon variety ?
I've seen a set advertised at ACT performance products for the V8S, anyone had any of these ?

Is there a downside to the silicon hoses ? Are they as durable as the original land rover spec items ?

Any advice appreciated.
Got a week off work so got to find something more interesting to do than gardening !!

Only downside to the silicon ones is to remember to retighten after a couple of days,I replaced all mine with silicone ones from ACT.
When you remove the old ones dont be surprised to see them rotten on the inside
Silicon ones will last longer,also get new jubilee clips

Make sure you clean off the outside of the spigots before you fit the new hoses. You will probably find all sorts of cr@p, corrosion, remains of the old hoses that have glued themselves on etc. Clean them up to give your new hoses the best chance to can to seal.
