Indicators on Ebay

No one is THAT desperate are they ??

If you remember a while back I did a post about the original moulds for the indicators & I had found the manufacturer, I'll try and chase the guy up over the next couple of weeks, he was going to see if the mould still existed in their archive tooling.

TVRcarparts are going to put them into production again along with the petrol filler cap, saw them at rockingham yesterday.

I wouldn't pay that if they were the last pair on the Planet.Obviously hes out to make a quick buck, there must be hundreds of these hidden in stores around the country, its just finding the buggers thats hard.in the meantime there are the kia alternatives to keep us legal and on the road.

I fear that the prices for those who are unaware of the alternatives are about to go through the roof.

I don't see the Kia ones as a "necessary evil" to keep us on the road - I think they fit and look better than the originals (and they're cheaper than the originals were).

Don't worry, I'll not be selling it on for a profit, it's gonna be locked away in a vault somewhere in case I ever need to fit it to my own car.

That ebay listing showed 10 available when it was first posted, so someones bought a couple. Way beyond my threshold of pain at that price, I think I'll go for the Kia ones for now and hope that one day original pattern parts become available for sensible money.

I hope TVR car parts start making them soon at a decent price. Both of mine are cracked with the corners missing, one made worse when I mis-judged the length of the bonnet and it's proximity to a bollard yesterday - doh

I would be interestd in a pair if they were at a reasonable price.

i need one desperately 7 really want two - but i will never pay that amount, the guy is a git & I wouldnt buy anything from someone who deliberately tries to fleece people.

I'll go for an alternative if need be

The ebay listing now says that there are 70 available ! Where are they getting them all from? Still at £58 each - ouch, perhaps they want to retire early !

Even if they were back to their original price I'd still prefer the look of the kia ones. I certainly wouldn't pay over the odds for "originality".

Doesn't seen to have sold any - still got 8 left. What a shame.

I've sold a few things on ebay and I'd say provided you just want to get shut of it always always start at 1p no reserve, or low say £100 if its a car or something more expensive (I've sold 3 cars too).
You create far more interest that way.
