slave cylinder actuator rod

has anyone replaced the slave cylinder actuator rod end, ie the elongated cap nut with the extended smaller diameter section.



its a unf thread, ie ive tried an M8 plain nut which doesnt get on more than a turn, if any has, parts numbers and locations please.

Did you ever find a new one??? replaced my slave cylinder seals yesterday and the same part on mine looks a bit worn.

no never found one, have taken the dimensions off mine to see if a local machine shop can make one up for me, just havent had time to progress recently.

hey Ken you have got to have a nut that fits in that box of bits I gave you ... no ? or is it the rod itself you are looking to replace ?

Found one! not used to having such a good selection, tons of great bits in there Kev, just trying to sort them into a "findable" selection, great stuff though. Thanks again

Hey Alan, give me the dimensions and I'll have a ratch around and see if I have anything suitable and I'll send you it/them (and put aside one for mine in case I ever need it )
