The parents of one of the guys I work with run a fasteners company in Loughborough.
I mentioned I needed some half inch UNF nuts for my newly fitted suspension.
He bought me some into work today.
They are a great old school type company, you want it, they have it or can get it, and very cheap.
I'll sort out the details (when my whisky fog has cleared), we're considering putting together some packs of bolts etc for suspension, trailing arms etc.
I know they are available from other sources but they laughed when I said how much they cost !
Watch this space, my colleague is on leave for a bit but we'll sort it when he's back.
If anyone knows nut & bolt sizes etc let me know, we'll see what we can get together.

I've put together a spreadsheet of the nuts and bolts I've taken off mine during the refurb which I'd be happy to share, E&OE of course. Its not a complete list, it just covers the work I have done and only good for my S3. Have a few edits to do after the messing around with the rear shocks before release.
One of the reasons for the high price of the kits is the trailing arm pivots, they are an odd size, 9/16-UNF and non-standard length. I think they are machined down from longer bolts.
