guages dont/wont work

now Im up and running after loads of fun getting the injection sorted and a few other bitts, the gauges dont seem to want to work proerly the fuel somtimes works the temp goes from cold to of the red line a soon as it is warm and the oil presure sometimes goes to 25 and sometime wont bother at all, all the fuses and relays were in the footwell when I bought it, and roof was off so they had a soaking, but I tought I got them in order before refixing them, the last owner started restoring the car eight years ago wich in volved stripping just about every thig down loosing half of it and throwing a tarporlin over it in the garden for a number of years.
