V8S Otter Switch in Thermostat Housing

I've been to Rimmer Brothers this morning - its not a million miles from where I live.
There was a bit of a queue at the counter - so I had a wander around the showroom - they have a few classics & landrovers to look at. They have a cutaway model of a range rover and a discovery - I looked in the engine compartment and couldn't believe my eyes! The otter switch was mounted in the thermostat housing.
I enquired whether they had one of the housings, and after some time looking up various part numbers we found it (guy was very helpful) - and even more luck it was the only version they had any stock of anyway.
This solves the problem for me of where to mount my otter switch since making some new pipes - but I reckon its better here anyway - as soon as hot water comes out of the engine it will trigger the otter switch, rather than it having to work its way through the swirl pot & pipes while the engine continues to get hotter.
The thermostat housing is identical to the existing one except that it has the thread machined in it for the otter switch.
Pic below. It was £31.99 + vat, and it is a thermostat housing for aircon models according to their system.
Part number is ETC6135A.
Guess it equally applies to V8's other than V8S too.

Fitted now - works a treat - left it idling for ages, fan cuts in and out as usual but gauge doesn't climb so high.
Left my wiring at the front of the car for the otter switch and extended it to the thermostat housing, via the coolant pipes & cable ties.
Didn't want to hack the wiring about - I always try to leave myself the option to put it back as it was.
