What S’s and Women have in common;

1. You never knew what you were missing till you had one
2. When you put your foot down they get very loud
3. Both turn heads (if you have the right one….woman that is!)
4. We can drive them both crazy
5. Both are temperamental
6. Both have high maintenance costs
7. Neither like to go out in the rain
8. You can polish your S in about the same time as they can polish their nails (2hrs!)
9. They’re both more fun with the top down
10. You can ‘grin’ and ‘bear’ it (mmmmm)

Anymore out there?

BTW ….soz…no offence to our female members.

Sam - I see you are only down the road in Bournemouth - ever come Southampton way? A green S3 was spotted down London Road the other day and Pies mentions seeing a green one on the M27 before.

they cost a fortune to maintain and eventually you move on to something else and can't help feeling relief that it has finally stopped costing you an arm and a leg. (and you suddenly have room in the garage for a griff)

They're great fun to ride, when you know how to treat them, but most guys wouldn't mind getting inside a younger model on occasions...

I decided not to mention the bit about getting too wet and loosing traction.

sorry.. I'll get me coat..

Green S3! C'est moi. Love to come and meet up with you guys. Last time I was on M27 was on the way up/back from having chassis work etc done at David Geralds.

Suggest venue and I'll be there! :

Sam - didnt know either way - Sam is one of those names and anyway, that S has been seen driven by both a man and a woman.

Good to hear of another S not too far away - you can always pop to the Hants region meet but bit far away for you (it is for me to be honest) as its up towards Guildford.

The Dorset blasts are quite cool - Bob the planner normally organises them. Had some good routes on those and well worth attending.

And if you see me around that way (often down B'mouth) - give me a wave

Have to say that my S is *definitely* a boy! He's moody, loud and is nicknamed 'Beast' by my work colleagues. Can't see how S's compare to women myself
