Spark Plug Gap

Hi All,
Just bought new NGK BCPR6ES plugs which I am fitting tonight however having searched a bit on the internet for plug gap settings there seems to be a number of conflicting settings ranging from 0.7mm to 1.0mm Anyone know what I should be setting em at ???

If it's got electronic ignition and is normally aspirated then you won't be far wrong with 35 thou / 0.9mm.

Steve Heath's book says 2 sorts of plugs RC7YCC or RC7YC and then goes on to say plug gap 0.032 ins or 0.024 ins. The Haynes Granada book says RC7YCC should be 0.8 mm and RC7YC 0.7mm which maybe explains what he means. I'm not sure how the plugs you have relate to the above but hope that's useful!

PS Should have also said the cat engines should have RS9YCC or RS9YC plugs with gaps as per the 0.032/0.024 ins as above. I did look at a plug equivalent chart at www.newbridgeauto.com/download/AJKCROSSREFf.pdf but it only confused me further as apparently the BCPR6ES equivalent is RC9YCC or RC9YC...

I thought these ones were flat fittment, and you needed tapered fitment plugs for the S3c. I have just bought NGK BPR6EF for my S3c. Can anyone confirm they are right?
