Today i was merrily busing myself putting the V8s back together again
, however when i came to connect the radiator and pipe work back up i hit a memory wall, could not remember how they all went, never mind I thought a quick look at the digi pics i had taken before everything was stripped off will soon get me on my way.
No, my son had decided to delete the memory card to make room for his skateboard action pics
an me being lazy git had not transfered them to the PC
.
So I would appreciate a few pics of the radiator and associated pipework from someone with a V8s.
Many thanks

Pete, I can post some pics later, but I've recently had these pipes off so can remember.
The bottom radiator hose has a sharp turn toward the centre of the car (I have 3 hoses like this all identical) which then connects to one of the metal coolant pipes (the one without the fan switch) which then runs across the rear of the rad supported using a jubilee clip around the pipe and metal bit sticking out from the swirl pot. The other end of this metal pipe connects to the bottom hose of the engine.
The top hose from the rad again has a sharp turn - but facing down. This then connects to the metal coolant pipe with the fan switch in it. The other end of the metal pipe has yet another sharp turning hose which then connects to the front of the swirl pot at the bottom. On mine nothing supports the metal pipe other than the two rubber coolant hoses.
When you fill it make sure you undo the bleed valve on the top of the rad, mine is at the top on the passenger side.
I found I had to bleed it a number of times.
If you need pics let me know, can nip in the garage tomorrow night.

Thanks for the help, thats how I thought, however best to check. I aquired a silicone hose set which came with 3 short 90 bends, the old ones are not quite the same, has anybody out there fit the hose kit from TVRcarparts and if so how did you find the fit of the 3no short 90 bend hoses.

I did think looking at my existing hoses that a standard 90 degree bend would struggle on the bottom radiator connection as it would foul the chassis, which partly swayed my decision to stick with the existing hoses. Is this the one you are having issues with ?
Chris
I have got a Griff hose which is identicle to the cranked bottom radiator hose, it just needs cutting down, all the rest came from the TVR car parts kit, which consisted of 2No 90 hose which i assume are for the swirl pot to top rad, however the existing ones are all like the bottom hose. To be honest I am not too impressed with the kit has it was missing quite a few hoses like the bottom radiator hose, swirl pot to expansion tank, it even had a short 35mm hose which has nowhere to go. In hind sight it probably would have been better keeping the rubber hoses and simply sleeving them with stainless braiding. Anyway thanks for all the advise, i will try the deleted files recovery program, so fingers crossed.
