Rolling Road set up - The results!!

My car has been in John Nobles in Chesterfield today for over two hours. After reading about the Austec chip I thought I had to at least get a full set up even if I'm too tight to part with the expense of the chip!!

After a couple of nervous hours the guy came back in the office to see me.

He said the timing was way out and he had managed to squeeze more power out of it. The initial power run showed 160bhp and 158lbft of torque. I have to admit I was reasonably happy despite the torque being a bit low.

...then he past me the new power graph: 170bhp and 184lbft of torque

Chuffed to bits! The car feels so much more responsive and the wopping gain of 26 lbft of torque is evident to say the least.

well done, nice results

I have 170 Hp & 224 lb/ft of torque due to the Austek chip treatment & its a great achievement. If i were you i would stick with that & not spend any more money on the chip.
