My s1 is going for the MOT on friday and a friend called round last night to check her over to make sure i had not forgot anything, all seemed ok.
Anyhow when i bought the car there was no history with it. He suggested that someone out there might know something as TVR owners are a close bunch and always on the look out for eachother.
Well the car is red 1988 S1 and the reg is F27 OLH any info would be greatful.

I bought one with no history - and its been nothing but fun!!! History can disapear fo all sorts of reasons and what is supposed to happen to these cars?

I bought an S with paper history (invoices MOT's etc) but without being able to speak to the original owner. But I've not regretted it for a moment. I guess as a former Vixen owner I had some 'experience', and so far this has been far less painful.

Certainly parts are a lot easier to get hold of for the S than they were 8-10 years ago for the Vixen.
