V6 2.8 L tuning

Hello, did anyone try to tune the Ford V6 2.8L with parts coming from Burton Power ( or another tuner)? They told me that fitting their stage3 cylinder heads and a road/rally
camshaft (VT3 or 6 ) could raise the power close to 200HP.I wonder if it's worthwile and if the K-jetronic
injection could cope with it?
Otherwise, what else could be done to increase the power,apart to change the engine? A supercharger, maybe?
If one of you did the job, I'd be interested by his
comments.

200 hp is possible .. we saw 198hp from a race 2.8 tasmin engine but it quickly went off song and wasnt good on the mechanical injection. I did a 2.8 with modified heads and a piper285 cam and it made 165/170hp .. or about 30-40hp up on std. 200hp from a NA 2.8 takes some doing.

One limiting factor with the 2.8 is the inlet manifold which is only just big enough. Significant head and cam work will end up being strangled by this.
Often it can be more cost effective to go the overbore route to 3+ litres.

best route is simply fit 24v cos lump 208bhp instantly easily fited to s series and fast as most V8's 24v granada cars easy to obtain too
