Gearbox and Diff oil change

I have a V8s and just changed the oil in the gearbox today for Castrol SMX-S. I also want to change the diff oil, however i cant find the drain plug, i can see what i think is the filling oil but no drain,any advise greatly apreciated.

Also any recommendation of oil. I was thinking of some castrol EPX 80-90 GL5 oil, open to advise.

I don't think there is a drain plug - its topup only.

As i dont know what oil is in it at the moment i thought it best to drain and refill with castrol epx 80-90. However as appears the case their is no drain will it matter to mix oils as i dont know whats in it at the moment.

I bought a metal suction syringe from I think halfords and fastened a piece of bent copper tube to it, this got most of the old oil out, very messy but effective. Why no drain plug I have no idea.
