camshaft removing

Hello, I would like to know if the removal of the camshaft from a Cologne 2.8L in a S1 is possible
without removing the engine from the car? By the way, has anybody tried to put a fast road camshaft
( Kent V6T1 or V6T3 ) along with stage 2 or 3 cylinder heads to gain some power? I wonder if this
is really working.Thanks for your advices.
