spring ratings again again.
Discussion
been looking back through the threads to try and find the correct spring ratings for my s3 and am now very confused.
does anyone know the standard factory poundage or is it a case of you can just go up to say 350 lb/foot depending on how hard you want the car to be.I'm looking for them not to be too stiff as the roads in scotland are generally kack and my backside can't take much more. was thinking somewhere around 190 front and 210 rear, maybee a little stiffer as they won't be rising rate.
cheers for any advice

I had a race car place measure some standard front springs at about 280lb/in. My car came with 250lb/in after-market ones fitted. I felt these were too soft so fitted 275lb (ie close to standard) which was an improvement but not enough. I think 300lb would be fine for road use.
I can't speak for the rears. These appear to be dual rate.
