Anyone know what torque setting I should when doing up the top and bottom nuts on the rear shock absorbers?

Just fitting some new ones and can't seem to find any reference to them in the bible or the manual.

Can't go to the TVR meet if I can't get them fitted!!!

Thanks

Colin

They should be stiff nuts. Just nip them up tight enough to pinch the mounting flanges onto the end of the damper (i.e. to take out the sideways play). If you leave them a little too loose nothing particularly bad happens. If you overtighten them, the damper bush gets a little more stressed (because the bush has to twist rather than the sleeve turning round the bolt) but neither of these are catastrophic.

Thanks Peter, all back together now and much improved for the new springs and shocks. Grin is now firmly back in place.
