True, but if I decide to sell the car suddenly then the a potential buyer could have a flick through my threads and realise what a bargain he is getting. But thats spoilt that one. Maybe I should have been more sarcastic on my original post

Thanks guys ! I will probably be plagueing you all with very stupid questions over the next few weeks, so forgive me in advance of being a pain. Just to clarify I picked up Grants old S3C on friday and made the short drive down to Derby it was something to remember for a long time, although I took it easy because the roads were really bad, when i got home I washed the salt off and dried the car and tucked it away in its carpeted and heated garage (who says I spoil my cars ?).
Plans are over the rest of winter to keep it off road and do a few little jobs to it and generally fettle it to what I would want it to be, so TTFN.........Tony..

Hi Tony, I'm glad you got home okay and you are enjoying the car. Its nice to be able to keep track of it through Piston Heads, and hopefully at some shows next year. Please pester me all you want with any questions, in the short time I owned that car I got to know it very well.

Meanwhile the V8s is an absoulute joy, how have I ever lived without a V8 before
