RT Racing Chassis treatment

On my old S3 I had a local garage steam clean, wire brush and paint my chssis. I then spent many hours under the car, wax oyling the chassis, my face and hair.

Although the job was propably worth the money (£160 inc buying the way oyl) it could have been better, ie they didnt manage paint the bits that are harder to get to which can be the most susceptable to corrosion; so I just had to fire a load of wax oyl in there and hope it did the trick. This time I'm still being lazy but want a proper job...

has anyone ever dealt with and had a chassis treatment programme from RT Racing in Sheffied. Its not cheap but looks very comprehensive.

When I began my search for a good S the knowledge and consistent, practical advice from both Richard Thorpe of RT racing and John Wade of SSCC TVR impressed me.

I contacted RT about cleaning & protecting the chassis on my old S before I got my current one. Not used them myself so can't comment on quality of work but I was very impressed when speaking to them on the phone. Can't remember exact price but full rub down, paint and wax with body left on was about £400 I think (don't quote me on that!). I DO know the full body off price was much more....!

Had my S3 done by RT racing and was very pleased with the results. Made sense to me as I don't have a large garage and I didn't fancy all that gunk. I would have mine done by Richard again no question
