Alarm/Immobiliser

The old Sigma Immobiliser/Alarm has been removed from my S2. Its garaged and the insurance dont insist on an Immobiliser/Alarm BUT I might fit one for my piece of mind.

Any suggestions/ideas more than welcome, would have to be fitted professionaly in Worcestershire, help please.

I can't advise where but I have a friend who runs 3 car audio & accessory shops (Nottingham / Derby / Leicester) - he says you can now get immobilisers where you have a fob on the key ring - and when you get in the car it just senses it and you just start the car as normal - no faffing about plugging things into sockets etc. Sounded good to me.
I have no immobiliser either - though having the car completely in bits I think might foil the average thief!

I recommend the Toad Sterling Excel (was called Toad Powerkey) cat 2 transponder immobiliser. This works from a key fob transponder. As long as they fob is close to the pick up coil (normally mounted in the steering column cowling) the car starts as normal. If the key fob is not detected, then the engine is immobilised. Very esy to use, and insurance approved.
