Window Tinting on your S????

Anyone ever considered this on the side windows of their S?
I have just had the rear door windows, quarters and rear screen tinted on my every day car (a very exciting diesel Vectra!), the main reason was sun protection for the kids.
It looks great and got me thinking about having it done on the S2

The tint is very flexible and is stuck onto the inside of the windows so I may enquire about the rear hood screen, but even a light tint on the side windows may look good.

Is this a good idea or have I gone mad?!!!

Dont know the details but I believe there are legal restrictions.

I was told about the legal limits by the guy who did my Vectra, as long as you stay to the percentage limit you can still have the front windows tinted
It does look good, and is a fairly inexpensive mod

When you say 'Sun protection for the kids' I assume you mean their eyes abd the glare? As I doubt that stick on stuff has any SPF at all.

I mean glare from the sun. I really don't think it has SPF protection either....but that might be worth asking about
