Anyone know how much one will cost for an S2?

I think its something over £100 to replace it.
Some firms would refurbish yours which I suppose may be a bit cheaper but I don't think by much.
Have you checked the wiring to it as it runs off pulses from the Coil.
If you search other threads on "Tachometer" you will get more information.

Check with Speedy Cables they manufactured them originally I believe and will refurbish your unit.
