V8S rear exhaust mounting

Can someone with a V8S tell me how the rear exhaust mounting linkage looks?
This is the mounting under the chassis at the rear.
The 2 holes either side are used to mount it to the chassis underneath.



Mine had a piece of bent threaded rod though it into the flat mounting plate on the exhaust.

I'm not quite ready to mount the exhaust yet but if I am to have any chance of being ready for S Club I've got to start thinking about the bits I need.

In fact I uprated mine!! Went to the local yacht chandlers and got some stainless studbar and nyloc nuts. Very fetching.

Does the stainless stud bar bend OK?
I assume you fitted it the same way as the original?

Chris,
Didn't have a problem bending the stud bar. I left sufficient thread poking through(forward) the mount to allow a large penny washer and the nyloc nut to prevent the stud bar dropping/dislodging, and the other to hold the exhaust up.

Think I bent the stud with the nut to form a fulcrum....so I didn't damage the threads.
