Picked up my car on Friday - bloody ell long wait - four days up in the Lakes - just getting to know each other again - she's had a big operation but seems to have pulled through nicely - new interior, windscreen, exhaust manifold, roof, ALARM and immoboliser.

apparently the bodyshop have been v busy dealing with smashed up MGF's mate. Once they are sorted, you should have your car back swiftly.....

You might have seen a dark grey S3 when you picked yours up. Lousy replacement windscreen in March left the leather all cut up. Persuaded the insurance company that paid for the screen that they ought to sort the damage done. unfortunately its a big job, screen out, dash stripped down and removed to be recovered.. All taking a bit of time.

Still, I'll have her back this weekend.. I hope..
