Fuse box - how is it meant to look

Does anyone have a 'factory standard' fuse box compartment?
When I had an auto electrician look at the car recently he reckoned that the fuse holder had been pulled down at some point in its history, and it's always been very difficult stuffing all the bits back up into the space so I think he's right.
What I would like to get hold of is some pictures showing how it is all supposed to look and fit, so that I can get it repaired or do it myself.
Can anyone help?
