anyone what material is used for fitting between the fuel tank and straps
I know it is a rubber based but is it made from a specific type of material if not where can i get some ?

just a fairly hard rubber, stops the straps biting into the tank when they are tightened potentially causing a rust area. I would suggest cutting up a cheap rubber footwell mat!
