Help needed figuring out a paint code

Can anyone help me figure the paint code for my dark blue S1.5 ?

The code under the bonnet reads P420 8870, but the bods down at Hlfords can't find int on their system...

any help much appreciated

Good luck - I've been trying to sort paint from Halfords for my grey car without much luck. I even used the colour matching swatches that Halfords have and found a perfect match. However the paint that gets mixed is nothing like the colour on the swatch.

Well, I've figured out the name now at least thanks to this marvellous website

so P420/8870 is called COBALT BLUE.

It's even given me the tint formula, I wonder if Halfords will be able to make sense of it...

Halfrauds had no problems with my paint code and its an exact match. Good on em I say.

p420 - 8870 - cobalt blue, ici code 8RG3B, i am not sure who,s colour it is though.

rm paint code for this colour is R2842.

hello, doing fine thanks, still enjoying spraying tvr!s, well having nightmares, i didnt know we only painted midas, arancio, rosso and all the agravation colours, where are all the black and blue ones. is that the big chrysler on your profile and is it any good. sorry in advance for asking on this forum. and how are you
