S1 with Safari spec rear end
Discussion
My S1 sits high at the rear, the trailing arms have be change pre my ownership but the shockers are the original TVR parts - the Gaz shocks I've purchased are fine on the front but have not improved the rear 340lb springs
with the spings removed the wheel toes out with the correct ride height and the shocker mounting eyes are 11" apart
can anyone help???

Thats not to bad actually. This seems to be a common problem with new shocks. Mine is about the same as yours with Avo's fitted all round and it goes over all the humps and bumps. If you have TVR S series second edition you will see LeeBee,s car when it had My shocks on it on page 302. I stole, I mean bought, or he fleeced me, one or the other and I did not adjust them hardly when I fitted them. I did think about dropping the back down but you then have trouble in parts of Cambridge when you run over policemen!

As a comparison, my S2 on original suspension is currently riding at:
665mm ground to top of rear wheel arch
375mm centre of wheel to top of wheel arch
I think that this is a bit low, and I am planning on raising it so I can dare to attempt a speed bump of any description. Exhaust clearance under the centre of the car is only 80mm. I was planning on raising this by about 30mm.
