Can anyone advise on best glue to use to stick rubber pads which keep bonnet and bodywork apart plse? One of mine has almost worked free

BTW, had day trip to South Yorkshire today and managed to find time to limit use of motorways. Fell over bit of A60 between Oldcotes and Tickhill (only saw polite notice of 354 deaths and injuries YTD on way back) and cut back through Peak and managed to get all way along B5056 from Grangemill to Fenny Bentley without coming across HGV/bus/tractor and trailer - talk about grinning! Having only had the S3 for 7 weeks, this is the first time i've found some real roads which the thing was obviously designed for

Just stuck mine back on with Evo stick. coat both areas and allow to dry for about 10 / 15 mins and then push them together. Fine!

I'n not sure what to use on the side window rubber strips which were removed for my respray, this glue needs to be stronger for this job as the window goes up and down, any ideas?

I have heard that somebody used carpet gripper (not the stuff you nail down - the other glue type stuff) spray glue to stick that kind of thing on. Not tested it myself so cannot say wether or not this is a good thing to use.

gadgit,
I used Loctite All Purpose Adhesive to stick mine down, seems to work really well. I used a matchstick to apply it as it is very runny, coat both the rubber and the door, leave for 10 minutes then press them together.
