NEW BATTERY - NOW SHE WON'T START

Just fitted a new battery. Like-for-like replacement for the old one. Now the car won't start. Absolutely dead. Immobiliser system (Pirhana) is not working like it did before - eg it beeps, but door locks not operating. Has the immobiliser been scrambled by disconnecting the battery? Could it have affected the ECU?
Looks like a visit by RT Racing's pick-up is the next step. Grrrrrrr.

Any thoughts?

mark i know this will sound stupid but are you sure that the battery is fully charged,put a load on it ie the headlamps and have a look to see if they are bright

Try another disconnect / reconnect of the battery aswell before you panic!
