Throttle cable

Hmmm... just what I need...

I suppose it depends on how the cables attach at each end on your car Norman, it looks like it would need modding on both ends to fit mine as I have a clevis at the engine end and a brass nipple with securing screw at the pedal end...

It's the original throttle cable fitted to 2.9 V6 S-series: Ford p/n 6720349 (I carry one in my boot).
It was around £15 when still available.

I could be wrong but are not the throttle cables for the 2.8 Cologne and 2.9 Essex different? I rather thought they were and the one listed is for the earlier 2.8 Cologne. A quick look at the book suggests a difference but it isn't clear.

p/n 6720349 is the throttle cable for Ford Sierra / Granada Cologne 2933cc V6, which also fits S-series with that engine (there's also an Auto version with a kickdown switch that you really don't want!).

2.8 Cologne and 3.0 Essex have different throttle cables.
