Our cars are going so cheap now! Sign of the times & people have to get a sale I guess.
Still, lets really hope the people buying cheap will invest time & interest in these lovely cars.

Could be... frown

I bought mine two years ago thinking that they were outstanding value for money and expecting virtually zero depreciation, but now I find they seem to be worth even less! Mine is priced towards the top end of the current V6 price range, but it's still a good bit less than I paid for it two years ago.

Thanks for all the positive comments about the car. You'll be pleased to hear I'm in no rush to sell, but I could do with something more suitable as a daily driver and I haven't got the garage space for two cars at my flat. That will all change with time, so don't think you've heard the last of me! smile

I'll miss this one when it goes, that's for sure. cry

Hey man Geoff. Think laterally. Get yourself a cheap runaround for your daily drive and park it on the street. Failing that rent another garage ~ it can't cost more than the loss you'd be hit for.
If your tvr is your only car at the moment you'd save loads on insurance if it was classed as your weekend vehicle.

It's gone! weeping

I know you all think I have lost the plot (maybe I have...) but the good news is that my S2 has gone to a very good home, here in the North East. I sold the car last night to a local chap, who is a genuine TVR enthusiast and already has a mint 3000M. I am confident that he will look after the car and I still hope to see it around from time to time.

Don't think you've heard the last of me, though. I'm still not sure what my future plans are but I can't see me being without a TVR for very long, one way or the other.

All the best! See you soon. biggrin

Welcome to S ownership Ian - you got yourself a cracking motor there and a very impressive garage arrangement - hopefully see you at the NE meet in the near future - and Geoff, like Paul says keep coming to the meets mate and don't hesitate to give me a shout if you want to come in a tiv even if it is as a passenger ( for the time being ).

Thanks Graham, will try to get out more, hope to use the S a bit more than the M. I know you are not supposed to buy the first one you see, BUT.........
had to make an exeption to the rule with this one, well pleased.
