...and a distinct lack of tyre kickers. Don't know why, but I'm getting very little reponse to the ads. When someone does come along, they say lots of nice things, then clear off. No silly offers. No feedback at all really. It's not a bad S, and I don't think I'm being greedy price wise. Any tips?

Strange, I advertised mine for sale a few months ago here, TVR web-mart and Find-it.co.uk and I was literally flooded with enquiries. The total quantity of e-mail requests for details was 31 and I am still getting them now, the car being long gone.

Is your wording and price right?

Had the same with the Griff. Some really nice people have viewed it, said they liked it alot, asked for a few days to consider, and haven't got back! Annoying!

i advertised mine on PH around midday and had about 6 or 7 calls by that evening. One of those arranged to view a few days later and put a deposit down. You could say I priced mine too low, but if it sells like that then i guess i just priced it realistically.

Mark - how comes your selling the Griff mate?

Dunno really Shnozzy me ole mucker. The main reason is that two cars is a bit of a burden to continue (one group 20 and one group 17) - the servicing and insurance are just extortionate. I fancy having one great uber-car that does everything. I really will miss the Griff (and the Nissan!), but it is time to move on I feel.

How's the Chimaera?

so far so good mate. few teething problems but "they all do that sir" i guess. still toying with the idea of an everyday motor.

OK....I guess it's a specialist market. Very tempted to dump the tin top and invest in a large in of waxoil. It'll mean putting a baby seat in the front and a bus pass for Mrs Wombat. Think she'll mind?
