Trailing Arms

Hi,

Just a quickie, is it possible to have trailing arms renovated, or is it 600 quid on two new arms and bushes?

I have just picked my S1 from the inlaws and the chassis looks good, but i managed to stick a finger through the drivers side trailing arm.

If you do a quick search on his forum there are lots of threads on this. IIRC Adrian Venn (Adrian@ on here) can refurbish. Also I think the S1 trailing arms need to be changed for the later semi trailing type s the originals are no longer available. I may be wrong though.

i have had the same problem, i have a good trailing arm for the passanger side if thats any good to you its of my s3 so you may need to get another one from somewhere else, i bought 2 new ones

Typical, that its my drivers side one thats gone Reb, still i may well take you up on that.

I did a search before posting and it wasnt that clear whether or not you could renovate them. I will give Adrian a ring. Incedently, where abouts is he?
