Dumb Question - Which Haynes Manual?

Which Haynes manual do I need for a 1991 2.9 S3 (non cat) please and where do I purchase it from (on-line preferable)????

ebays your friend Jaye... expect to pay around £3.00 for a sierra V6 - some go for the Granada but at that price you could safely do both eh ?

The Haynes Granada & Scorpio March 1985-1994 covers the engine but whether the Sierra book has more stuff of TVR use in it I don't know.

Thanks guys - just got myself a Granada manual for the huge amount of £2.19 (plus postage) from EBay - wow, first time I've used it - dead easy, even for me.

Granada one is fine for the engine. The Sierra one would cover brakes, bearings, steering column etc as well. I had a 2.9 Granada once so the decision on which one to use, was made for me!

I tried a few times to bid on a V6 sierra manual on fleabay - but got outbid every time they seem to be pretty popular for some reason

As I have a V8 in the end I bid on a 2 litre sierra manual which I got for next to nothing - so a cheaper possibility might be to get a 2 litre sierra manual to add to your V6 granada manual.

Now just need to get my sleeves rolled up and on with the cleaning/mechanics

The Haynes manual will cover most of the mechanicals but a lot of the electrical, all the body and most of the suspension is TVR's own. Suggest that you also purchase the Steve Heath manual for the S series.

I've been to see what a bloke on the local market has - he usually has a box full of manuals - and he had one on the V6 Sierra I think to 1987, but only 2.3 (?) and 2.8 engines in it, and another Sierra one as well. I wasn't sure which is the one to look for with the 2.9 V6 engine but then as I have the Granada manual, which is the best Sierra one for the rest of the useful S stuff so as to give me more choice?

The one you need is the 'Ford Sierra V6' book - 1982 to 1991 (up to J registration). It is red and has a picture of a red sierra on the front...like this...

Thanks Jaye that clears up what I need - have looked on ebay and see there are a couple but no doubt silly money from previous comments so as I've already got the Granada manual can someone tell me which alternative Sierra manual I'd need to top up the useful data??

..and just spotted a V6 Sierra 4x4 on fleabay with a BIN of £300, good bodywork, spotless interior and just a bit of welding for the MOT - seems a shame to buy a Haynes manual and not use all the chapters...
