I made an enquiry to http://www.bilthamber.com asking if their S50 cavity wax was suitable for outrigger protection.

Their reply is interesting, and their products do seem to get some good reviews.
I think I am going to give their new product a go when it is released.

Hi Chris

We're very shortly to release an under body wax that is much more resilient to stone chip damage on under body applications. Dynax S50 is really for internal cavities and unless regular top ups are made would not be really suitable. If you can wait for a month it would be worth it.

All the best

Pete

Have just finished treating the chassis with the Bilt Hamber Stuff and am very happy with it. The Dynax UB goes on easily with a brush and the Dynax aerosol spray has probably the best nozzle attachment I've ever used on this type of product.

Did you use Dynax UB? Thats what I used on the outriggers and I rate it too.
I've also bought electroc zinc primer, goes on brilliantly & covers really well.
..and S50 cavity wax which I haven't used yet - thats going in the trailing arms and tank cradle, the attachment does look good do good to hear it works well.

Hi Chris. Used the UB, Gave it two coats on the outriggers and trailing arms.
The Dynax 50 aerosol nozzle worked superbly above the outiggers and got in the tubes on the trailing arms well. Did the cradle as well. Used the whole tin so should have enough on. Plenty on the garage floor as well.
