Windscreen pillar trim

Hi,

The trim on the inside of the windscreen pillar has started making a bid for freedom on one side of my S3, any idea what the best way is to reattach it? I presume they just glue back?

Its not just me then Chris. I used a bit of glue but to be honest unless the windscreen is out I dont see how you can get it tucked back in properly. Some kind of tool is needed me thinks.

It's far from just you. A couple of the other cars I looked at also had this problem. Mine didn't originally, but it's just cropped up.

The problem is it seems to be quite tight - there doesn't seem to be much material there to 'tuck in' as you put it.

In my case I suppose it neatly coincides with a chip it the windscreen - maybe Hagerty will cover the windscreen replacement and Mr Autoglass will allow me to do a quick repair job in the process?
