Is it just me, or are all S seat belts crap. Mine fail to return and get caught up in the runner behind my sholder. Has anyone found a decent replacement.

Nope, I am tempted to put harnesses in, maybe 3 points or 4, but I'll probably just live with them.

This happens because the top guide doesn't revolve very far forward, if you seen what I mean.

I find the best bet is to pull the belt across your chest, keeping your hand as close to your front as possible all the way down to the buckle. Using this method I never have any problems taking the belt on or off.

Mind you, you may still run into problems if you or your passenger are particularly busty!

It may be a corrosion problem, any damp is liable to collect behind the seats. Never had any problems with mine since I added the 6-point harness, but you really do need roll-over protection before you go to harnesses.

i) Check that the belt winder mechanism is absolutly horizontal. ii) Spray a little WD40 into the mechanism iii) spray the guides with silicon spray.

I'll will have a go at oiling them. It would not bother me too much but the passenger one is the worst and the Mrs keeps shutting the buckle in the door.
