By being immensly good looking biglaugh lots of beer and a bit of luck woohoo

Seriously there are 312 on the course I'm on, 2 got flights in typhoon about 12 of us in Hawks and about 15 were meant to go in Tocanos (but these got wethered out). Great 55mins though well worth the 0430 start, 4 hour drive there and 4 hour drive back. I also got flown down from the North in a C17 the other week rather than being coached down so lucked in twice!!!

As a Navy man I now think the RAF are grrrrrrrrrreat!!!!!

How did you manage to get a flight then? I used to be involved in building them so nice to see the Hawk here - but - did you need a sick bag ...(Not being funny here as many people apparently do).
As an aside did you see the prog on the TV last week re the red Arrows - some super pictures!
Jim
a few mins later .. I now see how you got the flight. Good to see you can get such an opportunity.

That looks like a tatty ton Hawk, I too had a lot to do with those aircraft and also lucky enough to have been a back seater, so to speak. An awesome experience, never to be forgotten.

Mark, what course are you on to get a flight in the aircraft? Also had a look at your web page, what exhaust is that? Best regards, Mark J
