Intend to refurb the doors on my S2 this winter, particularly the window mechanism. Anyone know the numbers of the replacement rubbers etc that fit in the guides, presume they are available from woolies. Would like to buy them befor starting the job if possible.

Will probably change the hinges aswell, anyone got any information on this job, where can I get replacements from. Any advice from someone who has done this replacement. Thanks smile

I used the universal window channel from Woolies and it worked a treat. I'm 99% sure it was the 12mm stuff but would be worth checking. If I remember I'll have a look at the bits in the garage tomorrow to confirm the size.

ETA: I measured the channel stuff and it is 12mm.

Geoff,

If you want to take pictures and write a brief description of what you do I'll host the work on my site if you like. Just email me the pics and story to mark@gbsportscar.com
