New Car New Year
Discussion
Hi Lou, happy new year to you as well.
Congratulations on the new purchase, your wife will learn to love the S, if not you can always trade her in for a younger model
I have to agree with you about the wealth of knowledge on this forum, without it I might have not bought the car in the first place!
New to S ownership myself and like you I can't wait for the salt to go and the sun to arrive to get plenty of use out of the car with the roof down.
Cheers, Stu

I see from your profile you're in Leicestershire - whereabouts? I'm in Rutland so we could be close to each other.... Dave M and a few others are also in the Leic area with several more close by in Northants & Notts. Be good to see you at a meet sometime
Longers
Just to crash the party I live in Derby which is 45-60 mins from rutland area, with so many members in the vicinity we could organise a proper drive out one sunday in the spring or summer!! meet at a pub somewhere and just go for a drive for the hell of it.
Longers
what do you all think ?
Cheers.....Tony..
Edited to add: welcome to the forum Andrew.

Had some thoughts about Rutland Rumble 2009 the other day may have a route for you to consider . Taking in the acoustic values of a certian St Mary's Street not a million miles form here

[quote=I've arranged a couple already and called the runs the "Rutland Rumble". First one in 2005 had 21 cars, 2006 had about 30 and last one in Oct 2007 had 60 cars!! I didn't get time for one in 2008 but will get something sorted for 2009 once S Club is booked
[/quote]
Once I had made my earlier posting I thought to myself that "someone must have already done it" the Rutland Rumble sounds great you can count me in.
Cheers.....Tony..

Andy, Tony, there are a few of us around, 2 in Shepshed, I'm 4m from Andy, S3 Rich, Longers somewhere posh, and about 3 near Bingham (although one has a jigsaw V8S
I think I'll pay for that!).
So, keep your eyes open for Ashby Folvile (2TOTM) from about April, Rutland Rumble (if longers gets some sleep to plan), SCH09 and some form of lame excuse to meet somewhere for a beer
Be good to meet up.
