Being a bit lazy here but decorating at moment (what fun thing to do with a weeks holiday). Can somebody tell me the size/dia of the return hose, ie. the one that takes the coolant from the swirl tank to the overflow (top hose of swirl tank) as I appear to have a leak... it`s a 1990 S2 BTW! Ta.

Not sure of the size but you can probably get a good silicon replacement from ACT.

Can't find a record of it but I seem to remember it was in the region of 8mm. I've got the old swirl tank in the garage so I'll try to remember to measure it in the morning.

Thanks everyone, appreciate speedy replies! Should be able to replace by end of week! Also, cleaned out air filter last weekend & directed cold air via alu hose at it. Havent driven since then so may make slight difference in driveablity? Should do as air filter was extremely filthy & evidently hadn`t been cleaned in years!!
Cheers, Dave.

A word of caution with the cold air, Dave. This time of year you may suffer from icing using that method. The cold air idea is best in summer months, when hot air is a problem.
