HELP - SPARE PARTS NEEDED

Have a 1988 TVR S1 with a major issue. She is in Luxembourg, and my garage cannot find a spare part - triangle for the back right suspension(literal translation from the French - sorry not very techie). Will have photos from the garage soon, but can anybody help. Would be very much appreciated.

Andrew I think you are referring to the rear trailing arm. You can buy them new from TVR CAR PARTS, but they changed the design of the arms slightly between S1 and S2 and only the newer (better) design is available, it means you need to change both sides. Alternatively Adrian Venn will do a good recondition/rebuild of your old arm.

AFAIK the only new trailing arms available for S series from TVR Car Parts are the S3 type and the S4/V8S type. If you use these later types, you will have to change both sides.

As TonupS2 says, Adrian Venn (Adrian@ on this forum) can probably rebuild your existing trailing arm.

Out of interest, may reregister and insure my car in the UK. Does anyone know a good insurance policy that would allow me unlimited trips to continental Europe.
