Fitted an FSE power boost valve (see pic in next post). Its different arrangement to Andy007, as mine is a 1989 S1.5 with 2.9 engine - TVR must have changed the fuel rail in the S2/3's.
Still, discussed the correct valve with FSE Tech Dept and was reassured that I have the correct one fitted; that is the type with vertical entry to the fuel rail and vertical mounting bolts for 69 quid. There is another, but can't work out why. Andy007 has fitted the same vlave as mine to his later S model (with the horizontal entry to the fuel rail and horizontal mounting bolts - simply by rotating it thru 90degs.(see thread www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=63197&f=11&h=0)
Andy is checking it out with FSE just to be sure.

Must say tho, that I highly recommend one of these; the throttle response is SOOO much better, and with a noticably better acceleration (smoother and quicker) above 3000 rpm. Also made the car much more smooth to drive in traffic (stop/start stuff). For 69 quid inc VAT you cant grumble. Fitting took me about 20 mins too - dead easy.
Here's to FSE!

its the round alu/black valve fitted into the fuel rail to the left of the plenum and infront of the ignition leads distributor - if that helps
