Can't seem to find a pipe that takes warm air from heater to drivers footwell. Should there be one? The passengers side has one. Wife has warm toes and mine freeze. Alos heater keeps packing up nut that another story. Any thoughts.

Have you checked the eyeball vent in the driver's footwell is open? It's the same design as the fresh air ones in the centre console and can be found on the outside (right) panel in the well.

Richard,
haven't got one. Mine's an S1, don't think it should have it, or should it?

Ah, now you've got me - I can't give you a definitive answer for an S1 I'm afraid. Maybe someone else can take a look in their footwell to check?

Edited to say: maybe the only way you'll maintain warm feet is to get your wife to drive on cold days!

My S2 has a pipe that points down from under the steering column without an eyeball vent on (just a pipe). Could be the same as that.

Yes I agree, for an S2 there "should be" a short length of pipe near the steering column with an open end. On mine the pipe finishes on the right hand side of the steering

thanks for the info guys, but I still have cold feet. The heater makes a weird noise then stops. The heater moter is so loud that I can hear it over the exhaust noise!!!! Can you get the heater out without taking the dash off?
