My fuel gauge is up the spout and I suspect the sender unit. Does anyone know if they are fixable or if it needs replacing, what car it comes from - part no. etc would help?

Thanks Gav

If it's not working, then you'll definitely have to replace it. Just did mine 2 weeks ago, very easy 10 minuite job, I reccomend getting a new lock ring + seal. I am doing a quick, set of instructions on how to do it along with pictures this weekend. If you want a copy let me know.

The sender unit is about £25 from tvr and is a TVR part not a classic mini one as some thought. The lock ring and seal is, however, from a classic mini. Total cost was about £35.

I'd like to put the guide on the West Yorks TVRCC web site in the 'how to' section if thats ok with you. If anyone else has anything like this too, I would like to put those on too.

No problem Rozza, I will ring Hexham and get the parts numbers for all the bits.
