Shes on the fleabay. Not good times at all but at least the £300 reserve has been met.

To be honest James with no bonnet or engine & chassis work required I think thats not a bad return.
Do you know what the buyers intentions are?

HI, Great news I spoke to the new buyer today, His intentions are to rebuild and use for classic rallies. More than happy for that.

Hi Guys
I'm the lucky confused person that has bought the remains - I've also purchased a bonnet - I will be collecting this weekend and transporting all the way up to smoggy Teesside. I've got a 3.1ltr Essex which needs a check over and I'm also looking at a Granada Cossy V6 24v. Will put a rollcage in and uprate the brakes and suspension - I'll need some advice on whats available on a tight budget rolleyes. All in all I'm lokking forward to driving my first TVR.

You'll find plenty of advice (and support !) here.

And nice one for sparing another S from biting the dust permanently.. smile

A good shakedown run for it would be to S Club on 7/6. That should give you plenty of time to get it sorted, there isn't that much work to do is there..... yikes

Good luck with the project and well done for wanting to get the car back on the road clap

Picked her/him/itconfused up yesterday and 6 wheels in Essex - along with a bonnet and suspension (std) in Chichester and rack in Droitwich then home - total 795 miles in one day - trailer with car and TWO bonnets behind my A4 - had a better look today as I pushed it into my garage, by heck there is some work to do. Just missed out on fleabay for RS discs and calipers but organised BOA Cossy 24v and flywheel/clutch for next weekend.
Need to locate a company to straighten the offside chassis next (Teesside preferably) Who do I purchase a workshop manual from?rolleyes

Mick Well done I'm sure youll enjoy the project. The closest you will get to a workshop manual is 'The TVR S series' by Steve Heath (the bible). They do come up on fleabay from time to time, but are also available from the TVR club or so I understand.
Good luck Tony
