Welcome to the fold SirPaul!!
I believe that the rubber seals are available from Woolies - www.woolies-trim.co.uk. There are a number of products to waterproof your roof, many on here swa=ear by Thompsons water seal, I use the Autoglym product myself.
The water in the footwell is most likely water getting in through some of the screws that pass through the bulkhead from the engine bay and may take some time and patience to sort.
How is the car other than these problems??
Roy.

Hi! I am a new member who has just bought an S2 1990 that needs loads of work. The roof leaks like a sieve!! Also, There is a pool of water in the driver's footwell which I assume is coming from the front. Any thoughts or advice please?
The roof needs reproofing every couple of years. Use Fabsil (camping stores) or Thompsons Waterseal (DIY stores) or similar. If the material has faded, apply Renovo hood restorer first.
The water in the footwell may be coming in through the wiper spindle holes - easy to fix with clear sealant.
Hi Paul
The two routes in on mine were around the base of the wiper arms and under the roof seals. With the roof seal leak, it would actually flow around the inside of the gripping part (particularly where the roof clip is screwed through it) then travel behind the leather trim and down the door frame to the footwell. I cured it by running a bead of silicone around the front edge of the seal. Thompson's seems to get the most votes on here when fabric is mentioned, but most products work reasonably well, just apply plenty of coats.

Hi Paul,
another place where they can leak is around the windscreen.. easily fixed with some clear sealant on the outside, however you'd be amazed how much water can come into the car round the edge of the windscreen without it looking like there is anything wrong with it.
Cheers,
Matt.
