Done the words on for fitting fuel sender unit, but it has come to my attention, that I do not have a copy of Word so I cannot add any pictures. I have pictures of the parts, just need to get the wheel off and take a picture of the fitted unit and tank.

Does anybody want words only? I may be able to get a copy of word this weekend.

Hi Chris,

If you email me the pics and the wording (including an indication of where the pics should go) I'd be happy to stick it all together as an HTML page and host it, if that's any help?

I think you've got my address already.

Richard

Just to be on the safe side I would remove the +ve terminal on the battery first. I know the wires should not be live, but with TVR who knows. I nearly had a nasty experience with a live wire on a fuel pump once.

I've just noticed a couple of typos that I'll correct later. I'll also stick a link to it on the main site at some point.

Sorry, typing has never been my strong point, and I had to type it in Word pad, as I don't have word at work.

Brilliant! Thanks guys.

Pies - I was taught always to disconnect the earth of a battery first... if you disconnect the positive first there's a risk of the spanner touching the car body and completing the circuit - I had a pal who had a ring melted into his finger this way...

Geez, I bet that hurt a bit!

I was always told to take the earth off first too.
