Surprised there has been no response so far...
I don't have any foot well pics and I'm not sure what it will show you but I replaced my carpet a while back - 2007 I think. The old bits were removed as templates but I'm guessing that isn't an option for you.
The transmission tunnel was 1 piece each side with enough overlap at the top to go under the center console and about 3" into the foot well and under the seats. The outer side was done in 2 pieces with a butt join at the front of the door opening. Then an end piece was glued at each end of the foot well.
Next I replaced the carpet over the rear wheel arches. Because I used thin flexible synthetic stuff it moulded very well but I did have to cut a triangular gusset and glue that it. Then there was a piece of carpet each side behind the seat with the edge bound and finally a piece at the back of the parcel shelf- also bound on the edges. There is a pic here : http://deadpineapple.net/tvr/diary/2007.php
I used Evostik contact adhesive to secure the carpet and the advantage of the stuff I used is that it is rot proof and lighter thanthe original stuff.
Good luck and feel free to drop me a line if you think I can be of help.

Hi All
The footwells go into the wing sides or is there a panel that fits in there, I think there may be some bits missing from the pedal assy but can fab them if needed, a picture of the footwell will let me see what I have missing.
Alan
They don't on my S3 - the side of the foot well is flush with the inside of the door. Now I can't comment on the S1/2 and they might be different because the doors are longer on the S3.The footwells go into the wing sides or is there a panel that fits in there, I think there may be some bits missing from the pedal assy but can fab them if needed, a picture of the footwell will let me see what I have missing.

On my S2 the footwells go into the wing sides, nothing fancy. I have been thinking of making a carpeted panel to close the wing side off on the passenger side, creating a space for maps etc.I got mine from here

They do ones that fit the S, can include the TVR logo and kick plate and come in a load of colours both for the carpet and for the piping

Alan no covers at the outside of the foot well carpt comes down in the grove at the bottom and then up and over the raised bit of the body over the out rigger and then finish with an overlap under the carpet in the footwell.

Hi Norman.
Thanks for that, I have all that - 1 spring but will have one in my tool box to fit.
I was going to fit the steering rack but no mounting straps, I think the guy who stripped the car intended to replace some items but did not tell me which he had thrown away.
I saw somw for sale in ally but don't know where.
